Ocean Drive Newport RI is a "must-do" if you have a car on your Newport Rhode Island vacation .....and I think it would be worth it to hire a taxi if you don't have a car.
This unique Newport 10 mile scenic drive around the Southeast point of Aquidneck Island is breathtaking!
The scenery on the rugged, jagged coast line combined with the amazing homes tucked into rocky crags will cause you to pause for numerous photos on your journey.

The 10 mile drive begins at "The Elms" on Bellevue Avenue, south of Memorial Blvd. and ends at King Park at the Southern end of Newport Harbor.

Brenton Point State Park has both Rugged Seashore and open lawn...a good spot for a picnic on a nice day.
Fort Adams State Park is a 105 acre recreational area used for the Newport Jazz Festival and the Newport Folk Festival.
