Six Flags San Antonio Vacation
by Jeff Mechlin
We spent a week in San Antonio this summer and the most fun we had was the three days that we spent at Six Flags Fiesta Texas. We went after our school had ended for the year, and were lucky that the schools in San Antonio still had another week to go. The park was not crowded at all. We were able to go on the roller coasters without having to wait for more than ten minutes for any of them. My 10 year old could not get enough of the Road Runner Express. It was the perfect roller coaster for him. The best part was because of the small crowds, we were able to stay on the coaster five straight times. They did not make us get back in line each time, which was great. I was also able to get my son to try other rides that he thought might scare him, but because the lines were short he didn’t have time to think about it and was on the ride before he could get to scared. By using coupons, the park also was very affordable. They had a buy one ticket get one free and a pay for one day and get a second day free offer available. This essentially cut the price of our admission to the park in half. Food was abundant and not overpriced. There was not a lot of competition at the carnival games, so we were able to win a couple of prizes also. It wasn’t quite summer yet, so we could deal with the Texas heat easily. Overall it was the best trip to an amusement park that I had ever taken. Everything worked out perfectly. Join in and write your own page! It's easy to do. How?
