Vail Colorado is the largest single mountain ski resort in North America.

The main centers are Vail Village and Lionshead Village. They are pedistrian only areas.

On a summer Vail vacation, hike the Holy Cross Wilderness Area or take in an outdoor concert/play at the Gerald Ford Amphitheater. Check out the meditation and rock gardens at Betty Ford Alpine Gardens.
The Vista Chairlift is open year round.

If you fly into Denver, it is 98 miles to Vail....about 1 hour and 45 minutes drive time.
